This October, I had the pleasure of organizing a wedding on the island, showcasing its potential for hosting unforgettable events.
Their adventure started in the picturesque village of Plaka, where gleaming white buildings and winding stone streets embody the essence of quintessential Greece. As the day softened into evening, the couple meandered through the serene lanes, eventually making their way to the idyllic fishing village of Klima. Here, vibrant fisherman’s houses, nestled right along the shoreline, painted a scene of charm and nostalgia. These tranquil and scenic spots offered an enchanting setting for capturing heartfelt moments, reflecting the couple’s deep bond and the enduring magic of Milos.
The iconic Sarakiniko Beach was our next stop. Renowned for its white volcanic rock formations and bright blue waters, Sarakiniko is one of the most recognizable locations on the island. The couple’s first look took place here, taking full advantage of the dramatic and photogenic environment. The beach’s unique landscape adds a striking element to any wedding itinerary.
The main event was held at Domes White Coast Milos, a modern venue offering panoramic sea views and high-quality facilities. For the setup, we focused on simplicity and elegance, incorporating neutral tones, minimalistic décor, and carefully chosen florals to enhance the natural surroundings. The venue’s layout allowed for seamless transitions between the ceremony, dinner, and reception, ensuring a smooth experience for the couple and their guests.
As evening approached, warm lighting from candles and subtle fixtures created an inviting atmosphere for the reception. The combination of the island’s natural beauty and the thoughtfully designed setup ensured that every element of the event came together effortlessly.
